Watts riot
The Watts Riot were allegations of police brutality. It took place in Los Angeles, California, 1966. The riot lasted six days and 14,000 national guard members and 1,500 law officers were needed for the riot. The protest destroyed many neighborhoods and killed around 30 people. The word about the protest got around and spread throughout many cities throughout the United States.
